Founder and Vice President - QEP, CHMM
Maggie Strom brings clarity and common sense to the confusing and troubling world of environmental regulations and policies. As vice president of Tioga, Maggie’s mission is to learn her clients' challenges and successfully help them navigate environmental regulations until they’ve reached a solution.
Serving as a consultant and regulator for more than 20 years, Maggie not only knows what the regulations say; she knows what they mean. And, she strives to ensure that Tioga’s clients have a firm grasp on how to achieve and maintain compliance. She defines the process so that everyone understands it — not only the “what,” but also the “why.” What’s more, Maggie knows how to provide expert help in critical areas (auditing and reporting) and can guide clients to a cost-effective solution for carrying out ongoing processes internally.
Maggie is certified as a CHMM by the Institute of Hazardous Materials and as a Qualified Environmental Professional by the Institute of Professional Environmental Practice. She also maintains her Method 9 Visibile Emissions Certification.
Maggie is a member of the Air and Waste Management Association and has also been involved in Clean Memphis’ cleanup initiatives, especially the restoration of riverbanks. She serves as president of the board of Clean Memphis/Project Green Fork. When Maggie’s out of the office, you might find her paddling down the Wolf River or back home camping with her family in Tioga County, Pennsylvania, the inspiration behind her business’s name.
