After working as a regulator for five years, Karim now utilizes his talents as a geologist by conducting subsurface assessment and remediation for brownfields in Memphis and the Mid-South. Prior to joining Tioga, he served as an environmental scientist for the underground storage tank division of the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation.
Karim earned a bachelor’s degree in geology from the University of Memphis. In his free time, the Memphis native enjoys spending time with his wife and three dogs, kayaking and gaming. One fun fact about Karim is that he’s been a drummer and percussionist for 17 years!
When asked why he chose Tioga, Karim cited a sense of fulfillment from being able to help others through his work and his passion for positively impacting his community.
