EARTH DAY Earth Day is this Sunday, April 22nd. This day was established in 1970 to increase awareness of environmental issues and inspire conservancy. LEAD BASED PAINT NOTIFICATIONS Recently, the Chicago Department of Health issued lead abatement notices for fourteen properties owned by a number of affiliated companies. The companies were found to be in violation of the Residential Lead Based Paint Hazard Reduction Act after it was discovered that the companies did not properly notify tenants that pre-1978 homes might contain lead-based paint.
