We're excited to announce Paul De Soto has joined our team as an environmental scientist. A passion for helping others and a love for architecture led De Soto to his new role. He will assist with asbestos and lead inspections for building projects in Memphis and across the Mid-South, utilizing his previous experience in indoor air quality, mold, asbestos, lead, occupational health and safety, and industrial hygiene. De Soto is certified in Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response standards and maintains Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act certifications as an Asbestos Building Inspector, Management Planner and Contractor Supervisor.
“In addition to Paul’s expertise and various certifications, his passion for the health and safety of others makes him the perfect fit to serve our clients and fulfill the needs of their projects,” said Larkin Myers, president of Tioga. “We’re thrilled to welcome him to Tioga.”
A native of Honolulu, De Soto received a bachelor’s degree in science from Penn State University and a master’s degree in occupational safety and health at Columbia Southern University.
“Finding a role that combines my interests has always been a dream of mine,” De Soto said. “I’ve found that position at Tioga, and I’m so excited about the work I get to do.”
